Summary
Two years after the defeat of Ghidorah, the world has finally seemed to have gone back to some form of normal for humanity as they learn to cooperate with the Kaiju in some strange way. But for Jia, it goes back to being her form of completely normal on Skull Island, the mysterious sub-continent that belongs to the the Kaiju and other beasts time forgot. But now a strange new threat from the ocean threatens to put the shaky balance of the island's ecosystem into danger.
It's now up to Jia, Kong, and Monarch to work together to stop this threat before it overruns Skull Island and destroys the entire ecosystem of the island and becomes a threat for the rest of the world.
