Mary seems oddly intent on pissing Kira off this morning. But when the fallout hits, sinking Mary on the leaderboard once again, Mary's glee somehow brightens. She's seemingly happier in 48th place. I couldn't decipher the sinking feeling in my gut, nor could I figure out why Mary was happier after a loss. This had to be a plan, right? Surely it was some plan concocted between Mary and my sister. It must be.
But one glance at my sister's shoulders proved me wrong. The brief look of shock before her muscles tensed and a calm mask slipped over her expression told me it wasn't one of her plans.
--Set during Coffee Wars, Riri learns just how jealous Mary can be. How violent and cunning she can be when she's jealous. A jealous Mary is much worse than an undercaffeinated Mary, at least in the eyes of her victims. She's just a little bit nicer to her friends, but equally eager to rip apart anyone for any reason.
