He had been pushed to the point of tears, practically sobbing as he looked up at the square guard standing in front of him, ignoring the pistol pointed at his forehead the best he could. Daeho had sworn that he wouldn’t tell anyone about why he was participating in the games. He had pleaded his loyalty till his voice was nearly gone. All the while he ignored the small red light of the camera in the dark room’s upper corner, surely broadcasting this humiliating scene to the amused VIPs. Kang Hak-kun would no longer be in attendance wigh the rest of them, but he knew his father was being forced to watch.
Damn that man, damn his cowardice, damn the milligram of love he still felt for his children. Damn it all.
