Set immediately after the Thunderbolts* press conference.
Kate returns to NYC to see that
1) she missed a city-saving event
2) the Avengers have reformed without her
and
3) Yelena Belova seems to be leading them.
She wants answers.Meanwhile- Fury needs two operatives to track down a hard drive stolen, and he has just the duo to do it.
Cue a cross-Europe undercover mission filled with banter, tension and all the tropes. -

Yelena’s smile is small, very pleased with itself, and so full of shit it’s a wonder Kate can’t smell it from here. “I’m just trying to help, Kate Bishop.” She uses a chopstick to point at a pile of forms. “Tax evasion is a serious crime, you know.”

Yelena solo conocía el trabajo. Primero fue cuando estaba en la habitación roja, trabajando por sobrevivir, luego en SHIELD trabajando duro para demostrar su valía y por último trabajo muy duro para liberar a cada viuda que quedaba.
Pero ya no hay una agencia a la que responder, cada vez hay menos de sus hermanas por encontrar. Cuando parece que no tendrá más nada que hacer una millonaria muy insistente le terminara sacando de su aburrimiento, con una misión que le llevaría a conocer a toda una belleza americana por la que podría olvidarse de cualquier otro trabajo.
