It’s a fine line between… well, hate isn’t the right word, but sometimes it does feel like they fight too much for it to be anything else. Maybe it’s the tension of a new world, scarred and bleeding from the old one. Cybertron is different now. It hums, rumbles under the surface, shivers like a live beast slumbering. The energon is back, almost violently blue, and Orion would be grateful for that if it wasn’t for the fact that they’ve only taken the first step on a long, long road.

Detective Weaver desperately tries to keep him conscious while making the heart-wrenching but necessary call to Alice, who rushes to the hospital with her partner Robin in fear for her father's life. After days of uncertainty about whether or not he'll make it, Rogers finally awakens. In a touching moment, he recognizes Alice and calls her by his nickname for her, 'Starfish'. His recovery is slow and challenging, and he struggles with his physical limitations but ultimately highlights how this near-death experience strengthens the profound bond between father and daughter and emphasises family love, resilience, and the power of emotional connections.

They say love can do that to people. But that doesn't make it any less true, whether you believe it or not."
