Set in a very abysmal modern dungeon apocalypse wherein the population and birth rates are so low that the system forces arranged matches between single Hunters of high compatibility and wherein Yuder is not part of the Cavalry but rather an assassin that targets the rich, high-standing, but extremely corrupt
As two of the strongest Hunters in the world, it comes to no surprise that Masked Hunter Yuder is paired with the Guild Leader of the Strongest Guild Kishiar in the Gaia Matching System.
Yuder is relieved however when Kishiar asks if they could just do it once to satisfy the forced quest window and then never contact each other again. Yuder agrees, fixes Kishiar's internal state while Kishiar is sleeping when he realizes that Kishiar is dying, leaves the child support money Kishiar placed on the table, and disappears.
Kishiar wakes up with memories of the best night he's ever had and feeling better than he's ever had, but with the person who is the reason behind it all gone.
Kishiar wants to meet the Masked Hunter again, if only to help him take care of the baby, but how will he find him?
