Summary
Akira Kurusu never became the Trickster.
He was supposed to.

But Akira, hollowed by guilt and self-loathing, never once believed he deserved any of it. Still, he agreed to help—not out of duty, but because he wanted to see these people, the ones who gave him hope in fiction, live real lives.

Summary
Ren Amamiya has to spend a year on probation in Tokyo for a crime he didn't commit.
Makoto Niijima has to keep her grades and appearance perfect for her last year in high school.
Needless to say, both of them just want to keep their noses to the ground and have a perfectly normal school year. But a talking cat and a dimension made of distorted desires makes things a little weird, and soon enough these two students find themselves on either side of a tense game of cat-and-mouse.
And looming over everything, a gloomy power plant makes their journey much more dangerous.
(A P5R Novelization with some eventual divergence from canon.)

For them, this is pure entertainment.
And neither he, nor the thieves are going to give away their freedom.
If they want fun, they are going to give them what a thief considers fun....
ORV x Persona series, 5 having the Main Focus thanks to Tokyo's Dome. Some Smt traces as that is the most heavy with psycodelic themes.
