Summary
The touch is gentle and the cream is soothing but that doesn't stop the soft yelp that escapes Shane's lips at the touch. It isn't dissimilar to any other bruise he's gotten in his life, especially playing such a high velocity, full contact sport for a living. Except, those bruises were always angry and gnarled and put there in bouts of aggression and violence.
The bruises under Ilya's wide, warm palms were put there with love and devotion, with whispered words of degradation chased with the candied edge of praise. Each gently throbbing bruise and slightly raised welt decorating his skin this morning were honeyed kisses placed with perfect precision by the man who Shane has devoted himself to – mind, body, and soul.
Or, Shane experiences subdrop at an in opportune time and Ilya helps him.

Summary
“What do you want?” He asks this because he must love to torture Shane.
He wants Rozanov’s voice to be received by a cavernous mind, words plastered like subtitles on the back of Shane’s closed eyelids. He wants to stare at his own pathetic reflection in Rozanov’s eyes until the only version of himself that exists is the one in the mirror of a large black pupil. Infinite reflections of himself will appear there, his image greening out and becoming increasingly hazy with each iteration until he is nothing.
When his clothes are back on and Shane finds himself reassembled, Rozanov’s work is clean, edges neat and stitching smooth. There is an apparent labor that Shane feels in debt to.

In the gym –“ Shane blushes further, picking at his eyelashes. “I had never wanted anyone the way I wanted you.”'

“Are you breathing now?” Eddie asks, solely focused on the man in his arms.
“Oh,” Buck’s small voice is enough to tell that, yeah, he is back to breathing normally, but still, it’s nice to hear it.
“Ye– yeah, I think so.”
Eddie nods, lets out a deep sigh, then relocates his grip so he can hold Buck’s sides, feel his ribcage when he squeezes the soft flash encasing the love of his life, so Buck finds himself encircled by Eddie’s arms completely, and decides he’ll just rest his chin on the other man’s shoulder, eyes closed and heart full.

“I love you,” Eddie tells him. In one breath, secure, steady. No room for fear or doubt.
Buck is definitely not breathing now, and as if it’s some sort of sick joke, the first thing he blurts out is exactly that. “Well, now I’m not breathing, again.”
Eddie nearly dies again and Buck forgets how to breathe until he’s reminded by Eddie himself.

and walked right in.
Hen looked up from her detector.“Wait-did he-?”
Eddie froze mid step with his eyes going wide.
“Buck!”
Chim turned.
“He didn’t-oh my god- he didn’t put his mask on!”
Bobby’s voice shot through the chaos like a thunderclap.
“BUCK!”
Inside Buck’s muffled voice floated out, cheerful and oblivious.
“It smells kinda weird in here!”
Eddie swore under his breath while sprinting after him.
“You idiot, that’s literally the gas!”
OR:the 118 get a call about a possible gas leak and buck accidentally gets high (also with established buddie)
