Now he’s back at the Ministry. And yes, he still has that irritating smirk, the precise posture, and the uncanny ability to make her blood boil.
They’re Aurors. They’re professionals. Mostly.
Somehow, nothing about working together is going to be easy. -

She takes another swig off the bottle of wine and thinks ‘fuck it’ before typing out a message. currently in kl. you’re in town?

Summary
Robb knows duty, he learned it standing at his father’s knee and sitting on his mother’s lap before he had a concept of what it actually meant. He was born to be Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North. Kingship was never supposed to be on the table for him. But his family has been torn apart one too many times, and war seems endless; his only option now is to burrow in for the long winter, no matter the cost.
(And if that cost is his life? Well it’s a calculated risk he took the day they laid that weighty bronze circlet on his brow, naming him King.)

Or;
When the Tyrells switch allegiance before Robb Stark can be killed by the Lannisters, it only serves to stoke the fires of the wars in Westeros, the after effects rippling across the realm for years to come.

As the week progresses, however, she gets proven wrong about a thing or two.
Set after s8, in a timeline where Jon wasn’t exiled but returned home and resumed ruling the North.

Summary
Sansa’s carriage never made it to White Harbor. Masked men, the raven said. Robbers. Riding out to bring her back home, Jon lambasts himself the whole way. If it weren’t for him, she’d still be at home, safe and sound.
If life were a song, all would be well once Jon saves her. She’d call him her hero, fall helplessly in love with him, and even marry him. But Jon knows life isn’t a song. On their way back they’ll have to talk—truly talk—or he might lose her forever.
Trapped in yet another cage, Sansa lets her head return to the clouds she abandoned long ago. But she knows life isn’t a song. She’s not a stolen maiden and the hero who'll save her is not her love. Pretending helps her face another day, that's all. If only her stupid dreams hadn't painted her hero with Jon's face and Jon's voice and Jon's body. It's why she's so nervous when they have to huddle for warmth on their long way home. There's no other reason. None whatsoever.
Another one set after s8, in a timeline where Jon wasn’t exiled but returned home and resumed ruling the North.
