TLDR: Two best friends end up in Twisted Wonderland indebted to the cooky principal of the prestigious magic school. As a result, they end up doing odd jobs for the man via peer pressure.
Both girls are twisted off of disney characters/motifs themselves. The story remains basically the same from the game up towards the end of Book 2.
