“Shit”, he muttered, quickly putting pressure on the wound while reaching for his first aid kit. The body in his arms moved slightly, and Lantern raised his head to look at him.
“Shou– ta?” rasped a quiet, high pitched, and scared voice. Shouta froze. How did Lantern know his name? Scratch that, how young was Lantern? That voice didn’t belong to a man at all. Gently, with his free hand, he pulled the hood and mask off. Oily blackish-green curls sprung out, flattened but not discouraged. The freckles stood out starkly on his pale skin, and the once bright viridian eyes were now muted.
In his arms was Izuku Midoriya. The elusive vigilante. Lantern.
"Kid?"

Hitoshi was nodding a bit absently, but finally looked up at Shouta, a hint of resolve in his eyes.
"He needs help. Please."
Shouta nodded, standing.
"Then we'll help. We'll start with a wellness check and go from there. Does that sound ok?"
Hitoshi hummed in confirmation, giving his phone another glance. Hizashi gave his shoulder a squeeze before rising from his seat, too.
"Where are we heading? Need the deets before we can get going, who's the mystery beau?"
Another pink flush appeared across Hitoshi's face.
"Oh, right... Well..." Shouta almost groaned when he noticed the apologetic look Hitoshi was now giving him.
"It's Izuku Midoriya."

When Hitoshi's boyfriend stops responding after a concerning text, leaving him fearing for his safety, he struggles with the choice to ask his dads for help, knowing it will mean breaking his boyfriend's confidence. The choice to help ends up being the difference between life and death.
