Kate se sente mal, depois de ser chamada de Meia-irmã, Kate se recusa a ir para Aubrey Hall. E ainda decide visitar um velho amigo de infância, e se retiram para o campo. Claro que seu amigo a deixa a vontade, ambos passaram por tragédias parecidas. Em que Sr. Darcy e Srta. Sharma são amigos de infância.
PS: Au da série, mesclada com o livro O visconde que me amava e obviamente Orgulho e Preconceito. Darcy e Kate são só melhores amigos os casais não mudam!
