Even before the crash two weeks ago, Anya would still often drag through the day, Pony Express’ weak coffee the only thing keeping her awake enough to function. Her iron deficiency and the employee 5-hour sleep policy were mainly to thank for that.
But ever since the crash, she’d noticed another kind of fatigue. A deeper fatigue. A kind of exhaustion that seeped into her bones, slowed her movements, and wormed its way into her mind, asking, “is this even worth it anymore?”
Or: A fix-it fic very loosely based around Mouthwashing’s “The Good Ending” achievement, with quite a few tweaks to make for a more interesting story. :)
Or: Anya moves the bottle of isopropyl alcohol from the hall cabinet to the medbay. This changes more than you’d expect.

Summary
For all his careful planning and penchant for detail, Silco did not expect this.
“Come again?” he drawls, his voice smooth but laced with the undercurrent of menace. His glowing, sulfuric eye narrows at the inked buffoon standing before him, who somehow seems oblivious to the predator's gaze fixed on him.
Finn grins, a grin too wide, too self-assured for someone in his precarious position. He gestures around the dimly lit warehouse, the vast space echoing faintly with the sound of distant dripping water. Wrapped pallets of shimmer loom around them, casting long, distorted shadows in the flickering light of overhead fluorescents.
“We’re taking over,” Finn says, his voice oozing with a confidence that grates on Silco’s nerves like glass beneath a boot.

Finn's betrayal leaves Silco at his mercy, forcing him to endure torment and humiliation. But Sevika and Jinx won't rest until they bring him back and reclaim what was lost.

Once they get into an argument about the future of Blight Industries, Amity rushes out and heads for the Secret Hideaway like old times. Now, both Alador and Darius must search for them, forced to tolerate each other this one time.

Summary
The heat is overwhelming once back in the car, but Kevin bears it only for the shivering form in the backseat. He keeps an eye on him, glancing into the rearview as often as he can while maintaining safety as he drives, but Peralta never notices. Raymond's coat is almost comically large on him—the sleeves hanging over his palms and the shoulders too wide for the young man's smaller frame. It would be reminiscent of a little boy playing dress up in his dad's clothing if it weren't for the fact that Peralta is not only an adult, but one that they had found near frozen on a bench in the middle of the night. His head is down, wet hair dripping rivulets onto his face, and his arms are wrapped tightly around his body like a lonely hug.
It's such a pitiful sight that Kevin feels something inside of him crack. Raymond's hand, still a little cold from being outside, slips into his and squeezes.
“You know,” Peralta's voice cuts through the silence of the car, “my dad showed up again.”Or
Jake's dad returns and causes an upheaval in his life that no one is sure he can come back from.
