Summary
Stanley is running from destiny - just like he's been doing since being spat out of the Parable. Somewhere out there, he has a soulmate. Stanley knows where they are. They know where he is. But he's been running, and running, and running - so fast that he's never even heard their voice. It's a god-awful idea to run from them, even as he searches for the one person he really does want to find, and he knows it. He knows it's hurting them, and he knows it's hurting him - but he can't stop.
Meanwhile...
The Narrator has spent seven years chasing his soulmate, running on a precious few convictions. But those are running out the farther his fated partner runs away. He's starting to take what he thinks is the hint - and accept that he may never find Stanley, either. He can't stop without all but destroying himself...but he might just end up unable to continue. Not a damn thing has changed for seven years, and it doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon.
Somehow, this pattern has to break - but in whose favor?

Summary
Ralsei loved his friends. Kris was strong and heroic and they guided him as much as he did them. Susie was kind and fun, a little mean, but he knew that above all, she was a good person.
But Ralsei... Ralsei was a Darkner. He worshipped his Lightners. They were like Gods. Beings of Light, more powerful than he could ever dream. He wanted to make them feel comfortable, to love and appreciate them until the end. That was what made him happy. As long as they were together, everything would be okay.But sometimes, he felt something strange, yet familiar. A pervasive emptiness in the very core of his being that stayed no matter what he did. It faded, but it never went away, almost like a scar. He didn't understand. The Lightners were here. Everything should have been okay now. So why did he feel this strange feeling? He never disobeyed their commands. He did as we was told. He was good. Why did he still feel empty?
Was this feeling something normal? Or was it a sign of deviance? Sometimes, he wanted to rebel against his Lightners. But why? They had never done anything to him. He loved them. He had to love them, or else...Or else nothing. None of these feelings were real. Everything was okay.

Summary
Everything always works out in the end... right?
No more psychic powers, no electrokinesis, nada! Things are back to how they should be with Sam and Max back by each other’s sides, but what happens when the reality they reside in starts falling apart and memories best left forgotten to the past make a reappearance? Can Sam and Max survive the merging of their two realities? Or will they have to face the music of their actions and hope to not recreate past mistakes.
This story is a canon divergent take on Max traveling to Sam’s reality to live ‘happily ever after’, but the temporal timeline not taking the shift as planned. The timeline is trying to “fix” things as it sees fit. Our pals will have to learn to work with the merging of their two realities and the memories/ powers that come with it. Will they be able to cope with this new blended reality, or will the trouble it brings tear them apart for good?
