Incidentally Isaac is trying to find the Lab's professor round the time their family came to visit, bringing up some interesting conversation as his parental figure lets slip some of their past.

“Thank you.” They said, lifting their head to cradle the mug with their hands. After lightly blowing on it, they sipped it. “Oh wow, this is good.” They exclaimed, sipping a bit more.
“Careful, it is verrrrrry hot.”
They let out a noise of confirmation yet continued to sip it, a minute later they pulled back from it, face unhappy but overly amused.
“Shit- I burnt myself.”

Emmet wakes up too early and ends up discussing Charlie's discomfort. More trauma gets exposed as it does when Arceus whisks away a 14 year old and makes it so they cannot die.

Summary
An AU I made while getting annoyed at the boring plot of Sword/Shield, thinking about the amount of trauma the MC of PLA would go through and wanting to revisit Pokémon Black/White in a new way after getting fixated on Submas for a year.
Plot and characters have been made on and off within the past two years, and are still very much rough. Works aren't chronological and may not fit together exactly until I make one full work of the plot.

Summary
AU where Robert has powers his dad forced him to suppress in his youth. Upon stepping into the role of Mecha Man Blue, Robert runs himself into the ground physically, mentally, and financially to uphold his family’s legacy. It’s what he was born and raised for, after all. He can’t afford to fuck it up. He’s nothing outside of it. His dad was so keen on drilling that into his head.
…with that kind of pressure on him, is it any wonder he starts to act out? It really shouldn’t be surprising that he needs to let off some steam, some charge, so he doesn’t lose his cool doing real hero work. Call him a hypocrite. Call him a supervillain in a hero’s suit. Robert’s long since past the point of caring.
It’s just a shame he’s working so closely with people who know the hallmarks of a real villain a lot better than he would like them to. He’ll have to keep his work and his fun separate, for the team’s sake if nothing else. They mean a lot to him. He genuinely wants to help them succeed in their redemption arcs.
But he has no intention of stopping. Not when he’s finally back in his prime.
