It was an unwilling reminder that Anora too had once been a headstrong little girl. Pigtails and skinned knees, Loghain had said. It was usually hard to imagine Anora, stone-faced, stern, and suspicious Anora, as ever having skinned her knee or dirtied her dress. It was only in this study, which even Alistair was seldom allowed access to, that Ceren ever could picture her thus. She knew there was no love between them, but buried deep there had to be some measure of twisted trust in order for Anora to allow herself to slump in their presence

Natalie finds herself praying again next to Laura Lee on the cold concrete curb at the end of the Taylor Family's two-story colonial. Feet planted in the gutter. Smelling the vodka on her own breath as she whispers revelations into the hot summer night. She prays like there's only a single bullet in the barrel, and she's trying to punch through the fabric of heaven itself.

Treasure Hunter is my personal favorite. Bad Habits is the most traditional romance in terms of being solely focused on the development of the relationship. Doubt Comes In is the best written overall I think. Rewriting my Thalia fic currently because I was not satisfied.
