Cisco is many things, he contains multitudes. He's a genius, categorically funny, and possesses the best hair on Team Flash (seriously, it's uncontested, even when it's contested). He's also, and this is super important, fine.
Sure, life since the particle accelerator explosion has been lively, but he's handled that with his signature swag and panache and whatever other fancy word could be used for the way he moves through life. And sure, his hero turned out to be a villain, and his best friend is a superhero, and his other best friend lost the love of her life twice, and there've been a million other scares and betrayals, and heart-wrenchingly awful occurrences, but Cisco is fine.

A few decades before the Apocalypse, the Archangels discover that Aziraphale is irreparably in love with Crowley.
Rather than smiting the demon, they take pity on their Earthbound operative, and remove the obstacle by giving Aziraphale exactly what he wants.
But obviously, a demon would never be able to feel love on their own, so they have to do something to ensure that Crowley will reciprocate Aziraphale's feelings…
