Will byers was a semi-normal 12 year old kid, or at least he was until he got dragged by a teeth-headed monster to a Upside-down version of Hawkins. He barely survived a week before the same kind of creature captured him, dragging him to the Public Library. Will thinks hes now 17, still in this hell hole, and things just got a whole lot stranger.

Will turns on his radio, The Clash playing throughout his room, and he pulls his books out of his backpack. He intends to start on his homework, but something catches his eye. Or, more so, something doesn't catch his eye.
Will frantically pulls out each book, scanning pages to see if it was hiding inside another. When he doesn't see it, he runs a hand through his hair, pulling harshly.
Will's sketchbook, containing drawing after drawing of Mike, his best friend, who is a boy, is missing.
