Summary
“Sushi, shhh!” Oboro whispers and frantically shushes the mewling kitten standing on her back legs on his lap, her forepaws planted squarely on his chest. “I fed you more sushi. You have a litter box. What else could you want?!”
Oboro looks around his bedroom between the makeshift litter box consisting of a paint tray and last week’s shredded math test, a toilet paper roll turned cat toy, and the last bites of raw salmon he needs to sneak down to the kitchen trash.
She ignores him, as cats are wont to do, and loudly mewls again. He picks her up, and sighs in relief when she starts purring the instant he brings her to rest against his collarbone. She’s so tiny he can completely cup her with both hands.
“Spoiled little princess,” he fondly sighs and climbs into bed. Sushi drapes herself across his neck, her toes barely touching the pillow and her pulse fluttering against his own. He can just catch a tiny toothy yawn from the corner of his eye before Sushi is asleep and he’s pinned on his back. In his dreams, his face is smothered by a fishy smelling cloud.

Summary
Kirishima Eijirou awoke to the sun streaming through his curtains and birds singing their merry songs. He also awoke to a splitting headache. His omega body was getting ready to breed. Three sarcastic cheers for summer heats. He groaned and pulled the blankets higher over his head. Another gorgeous week of summer wasted on his dumb biology.
Before he could drop too deep into self-pity his phone vibrated on the nightstand. He brightened when he saw the name and contact photo on the screen. Bakugou Katsuki, holding aloft his medal from their senior year sports festival, smiled with his alpha fangs on display.
“Hey, Baku-bro! What’s up?”
“Ei! Hi!” Katsuki’s voice sounded shaky. “Do you want to come… to lunch? Today. Lunch today with me.”
“Sure!” Eijirou hopped out of bed and walked to his closet to find something nicer than work-out clothes. He’d dress up for lunch with his best friend, especially because Japan’s Number Two Hero always paid on their lunch dates.
Not dates… They weren’t dating. But Katsuki did buy him food, and it made Eijirou’s omega instincts preen.

Bakugou Katsuki stared at two pink lines on a single strip of damp paper. He was pregnant. How? Well… that was what usually happened when one did it without a condom during their heat. And he and Eijirou had certainly done it a lot during Katsuki’s last heat. Now he had to decide how to tell his boyfriend.
Hey, I’m pregnant. Too boring. Not romantic.
We’ve got a surprise for you. We? Already? He wasn’t even showing.
He could gift wrap a positive test. Ugh, no. Here, have my dried pee in a box. No thank you.
His nose wrinkled when he smelled himself. Was his sense of smell supposed to be heightened this early along? Then again, his cinnamon sugar scent was more acrid and burnt than usual. Distressed-omega was more potent than normal-omega pheromones.
But what did he have to be stressed about? He was only pregnant. He was only going to have a whole-ass kid. That he and his alpha hadn’t talked about or planned for at all. And that was leaving aside what pregnancy would do to his hero career!

“It takes a bit before you get fast at it, but that’s okay,” Hizashi says as he shoots her a smile. “And if you mess up, that’s okay too - we’re making them for ourselves and no one else! They’ll still be delicious.”
She nods, biting her lip, and they walk into the kitchen together. Shouta is already at the stove, stirring something in a large pan that smells really good, and he looks over at them with tired eyes. “I see you managed to convince her to come out of her room,” he says to Hizashi, then smiles down at Eri. “We thought you might like to help us with this - and it’s more fun than it sounds.”
“I guess,” she mutters, half hiding in Hizashi’s pant leg.

Shouta and Hizashi have Eri help them make eggrolls for the Lunar New Year. Through making messes, mistakes, and eating yummy food, she realizes that making eggrolls is more than just making food.
