Boone travels back to the city where he met Carla and across the Mojave desert where he faces the ghosts of his past.

    He doesn't deserve redemption. He doesn't deserve happiness. He doesn't deserve to still be alive. He doesn't deserve to be traveling with the Courier, and he knows it. He's just lucky she needs someone to watch her back, and that she even puts up with him.
