Summary
After Flambae and Invisigal pull a particularly cruel prank on their boss, Robert suddenly goes missing without a word.
Toxic, under orders from Shroud, seeks out Robert Robertson and takes him to a facility where he is tested on. Shroud is working on a serum, derived from Sonar's DNA, that is supposed to turn the affected into mindless beasts for him to control. But, when said serum is tested on Robert, he only gains an unquenchable hunger for blood and a seemingly unending amount of pain. Toxic is happy to toy with Robert, allowing him to suffer on his own and giving him no other choice but to come crawling back to him. But, when the Z-team is sent to search for their colleague, Flambae is shocked to find that something far more sinister has come over Robert than they initially believed.

Summary
I'm obsessed with the potential the story of Dispatch had. Don't get me wrong, I loved playing the game, I love interacting with the fandom, and I've had a lot of great discussions with people! However, I'm also able to recognize that there are flawed elements of the narrative aspect of the game. As someone who is studying creative writing in various forms of media, I thought it'd be fun to adapt Dispatch into a novel! I hope you'll stick around to see what I pick for Dispatch(ed)'s canon route!

For those who don't know, Dispatch is a 2025 narrative, choice-based video game about a man named Robert Robertson, who is a former superhero who comes from a family line of Mecha Men. However, his suit is destroyed by his nemesis, Shroud, the man who killed Robert's father. Agreeing to a desk job at the Superhero Dispatch Network (SDN), Robert manages a team of ex-villains (the Z Team) while navigating office politics, repairing his suit, and making decisions that impact the city and relationships.Series

Chad's niece has been asking for a very specific toy for ages, but when he tries to find a Deluxe Mecha Man Blue action figure with pilot figurine, he discovers that they've become collectors items. Despite this set back, Chad will do almost anything for his niece, including swallow his pride and ask for help.
