Summary
The second son of the king, Sylvain, knew well the stories of the witch that lived in the forest. Her castle tall in the abandoned fortress town. The royal family had placed a reward on her head, and they had been hunting her for two thousand years. Everyone who went, ended up dead. It was a death wish. A suicide mission.
Sylvain probably shouldn’t have gotten anywhere close to the castle, yet, curiousity got the better of him.
Getting captured by the witch was already surprise enough. But when the witch was actually a man, the prettiest man ever to exist. Sylvain wouldn’t have minded dying by his hand.

The thing is, Felix knows Sylvain is right. He isn't the boy who took his family's abuse with a smile, nor is Felix the person who stood by and let it happen, uncertain of his place. But somehow, Felix feels as if he's eighteen again, watching Sylvain self-destruct. Slip a ring on it, make it new, keep the only person he's ever loved from going somewhere he can't follow.
What will Felix do if it happens again? There are no cards left to play.

He cannot put a name to the thing in his skin. It lives there as he goes to work. It crawls through him as he answers phone calls and lets Kunikida yell at him for not filing his papers. He drags it on the bus with him, through the grocery store, into every meeting. It festers quietly beneath the surface; it’s an untreated, infected wound he refuses to care for.
He does not know how to fight it. He doesn’t think he could fight it. He doesn't even think fight is the right verb. Fight implies continued effort— something he's not sure he has, let alone something he wants to give.
He is the rotten thing, and he is ever so tired of being.

Or; Some stains are too hard to wash out on your own. And that's okay. Dazai learns that dirty laundry needs to be done, even if you don't know how to do it yourself.

Dazai draped his hands over Chuuya’s shoulders, letting out a dramatic whine. “Check Twitter, Chuuya! They're already onto me!"
Chuuya smirked. "Sounds like a you problem, bastard. Don't rope me into this," he said, Dazai letting out an affronted gasp. Did Chuuya not understand what he'd done?
"But it's chibi's fault!" He complained, but Chuuya only shrugged. "That's not my problem," he said, nodding at the monitor. "They don't exactly know that."
"And what if they find out it's you? Most of my chat hates you!" Dazai whined, shaking his head. "They'll have my head!"
But Chuuya? Dazai's chat was not fond of the more straightforward and aggressive streamer.
"Your brats are just like you," Chuuya replied. "Annoying and dramatic. You did it to yourself, love."
