Hermione placed a hand in the open pages of a third edition of Narayanan's Elidated Incantations: Shifting Paradigms in Articulated Casting and looked down at Draco.
He lay beside her in the field of grass outside the Quidditch pitch, prone and with his eyes closed, baptising himself in the benevolence of a cloudless day in late spring.
*Draco and Hermione have a lazy snuggle in the grass behind the Quidditch pitch.

There was something off about Draco Malfoy, and Hermione was acutely aware of it.
His canines were a little too sharp. She could see their pinprick points when he laughed.
His reflexes were a little too fast. When something was about to hit the floor, he was right there to catch it in a blink.
His sense of smell, a little too precise. He asked Hermione at Pansy and Neville’s last house party when she switched shampoos.
No, certainly something wasn’t right.

Not convinced Zombie!Draco is for you?!
He’s not your typical zombie — not by a long shot. Think iZombie meets Twilight meets Warm Bodies.
Which is to say, our zombie boy is full of angst and longing, and puppy dog love. And providing he's *well fed* he’s perfectly capable of passing for a normal human being.
Or mostly normal.
Apart from all the smelling and licking, that is.
