Dick would go home and walk by Jason’s favroite gargoyle and he would be sitting up there smoking a cigarette, and maybe they’d lie on their backs and watch the stars.
He isn’t dead, Dick said to himself. He isn’t dead.
And this time, his dreaming worked.
Dick convinced himself that his little brother wasn’t dead.
