Summary
Tim Drake accidentally time travels into the body of his past self, landing some time after Bruce has agreed to train him but before his official debut as Robin. He figures that the first thing he needs to do is to let Bruce know that Jason isn't dead.

Summary
Timothy Drake is a civilian, a normal boy. Kind of. He's normal in that he keeps secrets and has some hobbies. Those secrets and hobbies, though, are a little unique...and completely, 100% revolve around the crime-fighting family of Gotham.
A good friend of the Waynes, Tim finds himself dodging his heroes' attempts to reveal their identities to him in a misguided attempt to keep the status quo. No one seems to want to let it rest, unfortunately for Timothy Drake.

Summary
Tim could not be more JJ then Tim, because then he wasn’t Tim, but he should be over this by now. It was years ago.
Only Alfred and Bruce knew. Bruce because he was there, to see the real JJ (where his skin was pale, his lips were red in a twisted grin, and his hair was a messy green. Don’t you miss that? Belonging to someone?).
...And Alfred had dealt with the aftermath, making him Tim again. (but you are not Tim. Tim is dead. This isn’t your room. This isn’t your house. They aren’t your parents. Are you done playing pretend?)
Tim was JJ, and JJ was Tim. That was the only thing that made sense.

(The boy had just lied to Batman. The city had never seen a Robin so easily, so nonchalantly lie to their father figure.
And the boy had lied for the sake of Crime Alley. Not to protect it, but to learn about it.)
(Gotham trusted him a little more after that. They liked that the boy wasn’t a yes-man to the good, yet inherently biased bat. They liked that Robin was his own person.
That Robin was a good person.)

Or: Tim learned as much as he could in order to be the best Robin he could be.
People notice this, and love him for it.
Gotham loves him for it.

Summary
Bruce steps around the corner, dressed in funny shorts with sharks and flames patterned over it. Tim realizes they're swim shorts almost as quickly as he registers the beach towel swung over Bruce's shoulder- still dry and folded, so he hadn't just got back from somewhere.
Beside him is Alfred, holding a bundle of multicoloured towels of his own. "Master Timothy," he greets, once he sees Tim. "Good morning."
Bruce's greeting comes in the form of ruffling Tim's hair, upsetting the already awful bedhead he'd been sporting. "We were just about to come wake you up," explains Bruce, gesturing to the towels. "We're going canoeing."
Tim fights back a full body cringe.

Tim has a bad time while canoeing because he recalls a childhood experience. Dick and Damian help.
