Work inspired by my own experiences with self-harm. I wrote this to cope, for some reason writing about my favorite characters going through it, too, helps. If you are here, dear reader, I presume we are not so different in that regard. I hope you find some comfort in my writing, despite the morbid theme.

“Awassat?” Chuuya groans, twisting in his sleep with a grimace on his face. His eyelashes flutter slightly. “D’zai, can't you let me sleep in a li’l longer…”
“Ok,” Dazai says, nodding his head agreeably. “But it's snowed and I think it's completely trapped us in the cabin.”
Chuuya freezes, and then his eyelids fly open.
“If you're joking,” he says, extremely slowly, stressing each syllable and looking Dazai dead in the face. “I'm going to break each and every one of your limbs with hammers and leave you on the floor in the closet.”
“I mean it,” Dazai replies gravely. It's a rare occurrence, to wake Chuuya up for something other than a prank. “We're actually, genuinely stuck inside.”

A plan to cheer Chuuya up near the anniversary of his friends deaths goes wrong when the two of them get trapped in a cabin with no way to call for help. Dazai will have to improvise if he wants to get out of here without one of them killing the other, but he might get more than he bargained for.- Language:

The thoughtfulness makes his heart beat faster. What did the blue haired boy see in him that Reki couldn’t?
