Summary
Nothing seemed to happen for a few moments—at least, not that Jisung could notice, but then something dark, like a warp in space twisted in obsidian wisps around the dragon, slowly breaking away Jisung’s current vision and rendering him dizzy. He instinctively closed his eyes and breathed heavily as he waited for some sort of change.
Upon opening his eyes, where the dragon had once been, was a man crouched into a kneeling position with Jisung’s hand against his forehead. He wore gold armlets, and had similar gold earrings. Followed were black scales that ran up the sides of his torso and near the underside of his forearms.
Minho’s eyes were closed and when Jisung peered closer, he could see gold patterns of sparkles on the corners of his eyelids that disappeared into equally obsidian hair. He let out a puff of air as he realized how beautiful Minho was.
That’s when something rational finally got past his initial bewilderment. Was he even alive?
Jisung quickly dove forth and pressed his head against Minho’s chest, searching for a heartbeat. He felt his heart sink when he felt nothing but silence—
“What are you doing?”
Or: when Jisung meets a night fury hybrid.
