Summary

Summary

Summary
When four novice Sisters of Battle are at each other's throats, they are sent on a seemingly straightforward mission into the depths of a hive city. Find the zealous radicals that have been reported, and wipe them out. They must learn how to work together on this mission or risk death in the underhive, or be sent to the Repentia in shame.
A prequel to Left to Martyrdom, as I have a ton of back story for Sylvia and her squad that didn't fit in. I just love these girls too much not to give them a proper backstory!

Those green eyes flicker over towards Kate then, just as Yelena turns her phone away so Kate can't read it. “What does yours say?”
Kate shrugs, “you know, details about a thing…might be the same as your thing.”
“Maybe.” Yelena maintains eye contact and Kate finds herself getting lost again. Wanting to push and tease, to wipe that growing smirk off of Yelena’s mouth with her own. “Ava can be very detail oriented when she wants to be.”
“Yeah, yeah same…Kamala, details as big as the fists she can make, you know?”
Yelena shakes her head. “I don’t know that, actually. She doesn’t speak to me much.”

Summary
Caitlyn is not a workaholic. She loves her work, lives for it, but she is not a workaholic. Her social life is fine, her romantic life is... Fine. So what if its been years since her last proper relationship? So what if she only gets out once or twice a month? Plenty of people work as much as she does, more even. She's content with her lot in life, or so she thinks.
Until she meets Vi. A woman who is not suffering the mother of all dry spells, who is not desperate, and who is not batting way above her league. Caitlyn's not just unattainable, she's a museum exhibit; look, but don't touch. Which is a damn shame because Vi really, really wants to touch.
In other words, two lesbians in desperate need of companionship, but neither seem capable of doing what they want. Gods help them.

When Vi arrives on Rafta, there are three items on her list:
1) Work enough to pay off Vander's debt.
2) Figure out what the hell happened to him.
3) Sell the shop back and go home.
*4) Try not to fall for the pretty leader of the Heroes' Guild in the process...(League of Legends meets Potionomics! Only the base plot and setting are inspired by Potionomics, and there's no need to have played it to understand the story, but it's a wonderful game that I highly recommend!)
