Hux has been working at the same company for four years now after moving to America and getting away from his family. It's been a year now since his peaceful lifestyle was changed when Snoke brought on Kylo Ren. He hated the man at first but without rhyme or reason, it's changed to something akin to love. So when Kylo asks him to be his fake boyfriend and go to his family Christmas get together he can't really say no, what's that worst that could happen?

Summary
Hux had once dreamed of ruling the galaxy himself but soon found out that it didn't come without a price. He defects to The Resistance before graduating the academy not wanting to simply be a tool for the First Order to use. Once on base he meets Ben who has troubles of his own, but they soon build a friendship and much more as the years go on, but things aren't always easy.

Summary
Post-season 1 of Moon Knight, it's a new age of the world, where the cosmic power balances are shifting. Steven, Marc, and Jake start meeting Avengers, making tentative connections and allies with the wider MCU, all while working on internal team-building efforts with each other.
Roughly follows the canon timeline in Phase Four, with some events rearranged so our guys can meet the characters before their movies happen. Gets more canon-divergent in Phase Five, as the little changes add up.

The first time he called him that he thought time had stopped. It scratched an itch he didn’t know needed to be scratched. He thought it was a fluke. Something to get used to.
Instead it grew. Under his skin where he couldn’t reach. It spread, getting more and more painful. It was a rash he couldn’t stop scratching. The only relief brought on by the words.

Marc had a strict morning routine that he had rarely deviated from in recent memory… and not so recent memory. He got up, brushed his teeth, took a shower, turned on the coffee pot, made some kind of breakfast while the pot heats up, consumed both, and read the paper while he did so. Followed that up with any personal grooming and then finished getting dressed, a different uniform depending on the tasks at hand for that day, or occasionally civvies if he was doing something off-base. It was a strict routine, but it helped, stamped down on any chaos that might try to slip into his life.
If he knew all it took was one gift card for it to go completely off the rails he probably wouldn’t have made it this far. Though he’s glad he did.
