Summary
Jason gives him an exasperated look as they get to the front door. “Seriously, Dick. I’m fine. Promise. I’ve had a helluva lot worse than this, and still managed a patrol, with a lot less sleep than this. I’ll take it easy, keep the ass-kickin’ to a minimum tonight, alright?” He says with a grin. And fuck the things Dick would do for that grin. It erases the hard edges, the cold and calculating Red Hood, leaving behind a mischievous looking young man, rather than a younger version of Bruce.
So he sighs. “Fine. Just call me if you need anything, okay? I’m gonna be in town for a few days anyways, until we get this Two-Face thing figured out, so it’s not like it’s out of my way,” Dick says as he steps outside into the driveway. “Besides, it’d be nice to hang out more often.”
Jason gives Dick an unsure look, and for a moment, Dick can feel his heart sink a bit. Did Jason not enjoy their breakfast? Dick had intruded, to be fair, but Jason had seemed to enjoy -
“Yeah? You wanna hang?”

Summary
Seven months on the run since his escape from Arkham, Jason makes the impulsive decision to go back home. A move that leaves his ex-family in panic as they try to figure out if his peace offers are genuine, how likely he is to shoot them, and how to undo generational trauma.
Also, there are the hallucinations that keep following him, but that's probably normal. No one ever said vigilantes had to be well-adjusted.

Summary
Jason could believe in ghosts. There were weirder things. Like waking up in your own grave. Or being healed by Ra’s’ Nickelodeon slime pit. Or trying to steal the tires off the Batmobile only to get adopted by Batman instead.
Jason could believe in ghosts. It’s just the fact that it’s his own ghost that’s confusing him.
“Ow,” Jason says dryly, staring directly at the wide-eyed him.
The kid’s hand is poised to throw another object at him from where he floats a few inches off the ground, yellow cape fluttering in a nonexistent breeze. He sniffles. “I didn’t think you could see me.”
Jason feels uncomfortable suddenly. “I didn’t think you were real.”or;
Jason is haunted by his own ghost: one that misses the family Jason hates, one that believes in the mantle that'd gotten them killed, one that won’t stop looking at him with those damn puppy dog eyes. And god damnit who is it that let Dick teach him that? If the kid wants to see the others that badly then so be it, but if Jason is going to do this it’s going to be on his terms.
