    Yuuta kept expecting there to be one more bombshell, some other lingering aftershock from everything they'd been through. He couldn't sleep well at night. When he caught sight of his own reflection in a mirror, it didn't look like himself anymore. The scars on his forehead were a reminder of everything that had happened. He hated to look at them.

    When Toge messaged him to ask him to come to see him at the Inumaki clan's estate, he hesitated. Was it going to be more jujutsu society politics, trying to sway him in one direction or another before he'd even decided what he was going to do? But it was Toge, after all, and he had barely had time to see him since the last battle against Sukuna. And he trusted Toge not to make the situation uncomfortable. So he went.

    Yuuta emerged from the bathroom, his face pale. His breezy ocean scent, tinged with the bitter hint at his anxiety. “Umm…it’s—it’s positive.” Slowly, his eyes lifted to meet Toge’s. “We—umm…” He took a deep breath. “We should go talk to Ieiri?”

    Toge remained silent, too shocked to say anything. They were both omegas; he thought this wasn’t possible. Every time they went into heat, they said they were going to fuck a pup into the other, but it shouldn’t have been possible to actually do that.

    Ten weeks ago, Toge—an omega—pupped his omega mate. He tugged up Yuuta’s uniform again. That little swell stared back at him.
