Me and Tim walk into her house as she all but drags us upstairs but Tim stops.
"Oh, uh- we're not here to stay. We wanted to ask you some questions about your guests actually," Tim says and I add a small "yea". The lady stares at us for a second before forcing us to sit down on her sofa.
"Go ahead, ask your questions," she says smilingly directly at me, again. Which is weird because I'm not the one who'll be asking the questions. But that shouldn't be a problem, we'll ask the question and leave, safe and sound.

What happens to all those who died? All those who never got to make a statement? Maybe some of them survived, maybe good can happen in a world ruled by fear. This is just as much of a possibility of Gwendolyn actually wanting to be at school. Neither of these things will ever happen. Gwen knows this. Gwen knows the world hates her and wants her to die. She hates the world back calling everything stupid and/or dumb. But how could anyone blame her when the world is 'upgrading' by making more and more thing monochromatic and sucking the joy out of life! Well everything seemed painted monochromatic, but that was before she stepped through the yellow door, b̶e̶f̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶d̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶m̶i̶s̶t̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶l̶i̶f̶e̶,̶ now things look- off. But it's the same? Gwen doesn't know and thinking about to much is giving her headache. She should probably just leave it alone and wait for the day to be over. Will she? No. Absolutely not.

Gerry pauses with the cigarette halfway outstretched to Michael's waiting hand, struck by a sudden idea.
It raises an eyebrow at him in silent question. Before he can change his mind, he blurts out-
"Have you ever shotgunned a cigarette before?"
Its kaleidoscope eyes light up with recognition (and, he thinks, amusement). The hum of static in the background pitches up almost imperceptibly, raising the hairs on the back of his neck.
"No."
Gerry can barely think over the pounding of his heart in his chest. It's too late to back out now.
"Would you like to?"
