Summary
The faint flicker of the lantern’s flame cast strange shadows on the walls. Twisted shapes danced back and forth, a calming show that used to put Dipper to sleep.
During the summers it had often been the only way he could sleep after the excitement and confusion most of the days held, back before what happened before they left. His mind would be racing despite aching muscles and pounding head, worsening the insomnia that he already struggled with enough at home.
Dipper always dealt with hallucinations and nightmares, doubly so after his first summer at gravity falls and his parents' divorce. Recently, however, they've gotten worse. Way worse. And with an annoying voice in his head that sometimes doesn't sound like it comes from his own brain.

"Itadori-senpai," Satoru poses the question, meeting pools of honeyed-over umber with his own crushed glaciers, dazzling peaks reflected in his irises piercing into his senior's soul. "Are you strong?"
Itadori pauses before answering, like it takes him an eternity to spit words from his tongue. "Depends, sen-Gojo-kun. I'd say I am, but not as much as you."
Satoru leans forward, catching the 'sen'. "What was that?"

Yuuji's back in 2004. Now 2005. And his sensei's in front of him, significantly younger and more baby-faced, no longer the bundled mass of muscle and sharp jawline. Huh. The universe really hates him, doesn't it.Who knew time travel could be so...interesting? Maybe Gojo-sensei'll survive this time. Just maybe.

Saving Earth and Erid doesn't make the rest of the Astrophage go away. It will keep spreading and eating, reaching other star systems and eating those, and spreading some more.
But Grace never thought other alien species might need help. He never thought they would come looking for answers on Erid, let alone because they had connections to Earth.
It's been three years since they saved Erid. Roughly two, since the last Eridian expedition had landed them on a moon covered in an ocean of blood—which was where they'd found a person of all things. Yeah, house training him had been fun.
But Simon is tame now and Grace thought all the space adventures were over.
Until an alien race from 40,000 light years away come searching for answers. They have technology advanced enough for interstellar travel. But not the means to end Astrophage on their own, because they never developed molecular sciences. Because they're not carbon-based, and never needed it before now.
So, aliens are real, blood oceans on weird moons are real, interstellar travel is real, and Grace was right about his dissertation and he can't even rub it in.

"Is easy," Rocky says confidently. His tail whips down and wraps around Grace's waist, causing his heart to skip so many beats that he almost pukes. "Rocky say Ga'race is pet."
"Oh," Grace says dreamily. "Well, that's - what the fish did you just say?"

The Hail Mary made the decision to land even before Grace woke up.
As such, he fully blamed it on Mary when he went and fell in love with one of the indigenous Na'Vi that occupied the moon.
Well... maybe it was a little bit of his fault, too.
