Darcy gnawed on her bottom lip harshly as she stared down at the test that rested on her bathroom counter. Perhaps it was a false positive? Yeah, it could definitely be a false positive.
If it weren't for the other three tests on the counter Darcy could hold onto that hope. But no. She was definitely pregnant.

Summary
Darcy has long since learned to accept that she has a fear of thunder. However, when you live in a Tower full of heroes with real fears (like alien invasions, being kidnapped and tortured, brainwashing and Ragnorok of all things), fear of a little storm seems a little ridiculous.
When Steve finds her attempting to whether the storm outside (pun totally intended), he shares that just because they fear the big things doesn't mean they don't fear ridiculous things as well. Who knew Tony was terrified of butterflies? And what sort of 'ridiculous' fear does Captain America hide?

Summary
This work is expanded/adapted from ozhawk's Soulmate Shorts. I have used her beginning and added to the 1st chapter. In it, SHIELD has taken up residency in in Latveria, a small Baltic country of which Victor von Doom (aka Dr. Doom) is the monarch. Von Doom has offered the team assylum and funding--the only snag is the discovery of his fiesty soul mate.
**It should be noted in these Soulmate Shorts, that soul mates are born with the first words their soul mates will say to them tattooed somewhere on their bodies in the soul mate's handwriting. It's how soul mates identify each other.**
