Driving. That was just about all Mike did these days. He’d wake up, brush his teeth, kiss his wife on the cheek before she left for work, sit down to get some writing done, and take a drive to clear his head. Again, and again, and again. He wondered how he wasn’t broke yet, gas prices were horrible. Yet he continued. Blasting the radio, putting a thrifted CD in, connecting his spotify to the chevvy, anything to drown out the thoughts. It just so happened he picked the radio at the worst possible moment.
