Summary
In celebration of Bruce Wayne's new charity focused around underfunded theater programs across Gotham, the Gotham Theatrical Society decides to host a showcase. Due to an attack by the Rogues, the Society is forced to forgo a live show. Instead they show an old recording from a Park Row Community Theater production of the musical Next to Normal. What they don't anticipate is for the Wayne family's lost son to be starring in the show.
Or, what happens when a grieving family watches a musical about a grieving family? And what if Jason Todd was a bit more of a musical theater kid than he let on?

Roy Harper was possibly the dumbest man alive.
He'd always considered himself the type to learn the hard way - but once he had - he would never intentionally repeat a mistake.
Perhaps that character assessment had been mistaken, however, considering he'd learned this lesson before. He could swear he’d had a very similar conversation with Jade as he was having with Jason now. A discussion about moving forward and mistakes made. It was less so about blame than Roy probably deserved.
After all, as Jason put it, all of this could've been avoided if he'd just fucking used protection.
