Heeseung’s voice was small but steady, his lips forming a pout that almost made Riki laugh. Almost. The faintest chuckle escaped him, low and amused.
“D… don’t touch him like that,” Heeseung added, glaring at the hand Riki still had resting on the other man’s waist. The heat crawling up his neck didn’t stop him. Acting purely on instinct, he reached out—small fingers curling around Riki’s wrist. He pulled his hand away from the man, then held on, clutching it as if it were the only thing keeping him upright.
The entire café seemed to freeze.

"I can be what you want me to be". Heeseung said desperately, clutching at Riki's hand like a lifeline, eyes shimmering with half fallen tears.

riki nods again, glancing over at the cup. truthfully, it does make him feel better. it makes the entire process feel better, smoother, but he won't admit it. he doesn't need to. his mother knows him too well.
