“What are you working on?”

Summary
The Creche Masters were often considered the last line of defence against external threats. Today marked the first time in centuries that their hand was forced. Alarms echoed through the eerily empty halls. In the distance, the sound of battle could be heard but it had not yet reached the heart of the Temple quite yet.
The fight ahead would not be pretty. It would not be long before it arrived.
The tall ornate doors leading to the most inner sanctum of the Coruscant Temple had been shut and locked. Behind it, the Jedi Younglings were being readied for evacuation.
In front of the door stood a lone figure.
This was hardly the first time Creche Master Obi-Wan Kenobi acted as a sentry, though this position might just be his most crucial one. His huddle of Younglings were behind the doors at his back, and he would die before letting anyone through those doors.
He stood still, unmoving and unafraid. Taking a deep breath, Obi-Wan took his saber and held it. He knew what he had to do, and he would stop at nothing to do it.
These Mandalorians would pay for breaking into the Temple with their lives.

“Goodluck trying to tell him that.” A nearby foodtender muttered, “He’s of the Old Way. They don’t accept life debts.”
“A Traditionalist?”
“Nyac. The Olden Way.” The Mando shrugged.
The Olden Way held different values from most Resol’nare. Their Creed kept their Ways close, they kept their secrets with their lives. It was difficult to find information on them because they themselves were hard to find. They were ghosts.
The only reason Jaster knew that much was because one of his closer Verde was once of a Covert. His Creed was broken and while he sought Redemption to return in the beginning, he found his soulmate who was not of his Creed.
“Olden Way or not, our tendons have granted him the life debt of my ad and me. One for saving his life, and one because I failed to be there to protect it.” Jaster muttered. “We’ll find him.”

Summary
Batman really wanted him dead, huh? So much for his number one rule, he had to break it just for Jason. He wonders if Bruce ever truly loved him, if it was all just a facade. Maybe he wasn't supposed to be alive, certainly no one here wanted him to be.
He floated in complete nothingness, a void of true peace until the world painfully rushed back in.

“Udesii, verd. Gar morut'yc.” A blurry grey figure spoke, covered head to toe in strange metal armor, painted grey and red, the skull of some tusked animal welded onto the pauldron. “Me'vaar ti gar?” The figure stood above him, red cape on its shoulders.

Bar-oor? That's probably a space doctor, right? He absolutely doesn't have space healthcare. Eh, what are they gonna do, kill him? Death has already spat him out twice.
He gave Jaster a deadpan look, “If you cross me I'll shoot you.”
The metal man hummed in agreement. “Elek, verd.” The metal man said as he offered him a hand up, which Jason took reluctantly as getting carried around like a damsel would do much more damage to his pride than using the man as a crutch.

Jason shakes his head. “No, no, no. That’s my job.”Luckily, the stubborn kid accepts that. He wanders to the living room, dropping his backpack on the couch and pulling out a science workbook. Within seconds he’s absorbed again, pencil tapping lightly as he scribbles something far beyond his grade level.
Jason watches him, standing there, leaning in the hallway, breathing through the throb of adrenaline still grinding in his veins.He doesn’t know who touched the doorknob.
He doesn’t know whether it was connected to the school lockdown.
That’s two things too many that he doesn’t know.

Summary
The galaxy teeters on the brink of war. On the desert world of Tatooine, an insurgency led by the mysterious Rain Bringers challenges the brutal rule of the Hutt Cartel. “A minor setback, really,” the wizard said, waving off the dwarf’s concerns with a smile. He squeezed Bilbo’s shoulder before clearing his throat. “Young Master Baggins, here, is the son of one of the Shire’s most proficient Westron speakers. He was exposed to the language as a child, although he hasn’t had much use for it in his lifetime so his skills have, understandably, diminished. But I have no doubt that, given the opportunity to learn, he would pick it up quite quickly. He is a clever fellow if I’ve ever known one.”

"Please Gandalf... please don't tell him." She begged, her voice thick with emotion and unshed tears.
Gandalf met her eyes with as forlorn an expression as she'd ever seen on his face. There was such sadness held there at the answer she knew he had to give.
"It would be a promise I cannot keep." He told her as kindly as he possibly could. "I'd rather not keep a father and his child from each other- a King and his heir even less so."
Billa looked away but didn't flinch when a warm, rough hand touched her shoulder offering comfort. She desperately needed it. She was so frightened.
"Did you love him?" She heard him ask. She clung to the sympathy in his voice and nodded as her eyes brimmed with tears.
"Do you still?"
The answer was barely a whisper- as small and secret as the fluttering heartbeat under her shaking hand.
"Yes."

Dwalin is sent back in time after an unfortunately long life. When he saves Prince Frerin's life, Dwalin has no idea where King Thrain disappears nor who will shelter him. When the Company arrives at Bag End, their welcome will be far warmer than they could have anticipated.

Summary
Finding an unconscious Bilbo in the thick of battle, Legolas takes him to the elf encampment to have the hobbit healed. Through that gesture began a series of events that leads to the revelation of Bilbo's pregnancy and an advise that urges Thranduil to keep Bilbo's survival a secret until the hobbit says he is ready. Of course, his best course of action for that was not to name Bilbo as Elf-Friend but Elf-Kin.
Unfortunately, he did not take determined Dwarven Kings, Princes and the like into account.

Guilty of the way he had treated his One, Thorin casts his pride aside to ask for the Woodland Realm's help in finding the Company's burglar in order to make amends at the very least. Not believing Bilbo could forgive him, Thorin wishes to earn the hobbit's trust and love once more even if it means casting tradition aside and courting his One in the ways of the hobbits
Unfortunately, Bilbo may be willing to forgive the Company and Thorin in words, his mind and heart is not yet ready to let go of the trauma and harm inflicted upon him.

By the governing law of the Shire, Bilbo Baggins found himself Thain and reluctant diplomat of the hobbits; which, perhaps he wouldn't have minded if the circumstance's were different. Although seeing as he should have been several times removed before he were to obtain such a title, a desolation had befallen Hobbiton and they found themselves without a home and many without their family.
Yet, with no way to return to the rolling hills of the Shire, Bilbo Baggins found himself in quite the situation indeed; arranged by lords and royalty, to honour aged treaties and debts of old: his hand to be given off to a king he's never met, for the security and safety of his people, and never in all his years would he have thought his life to come to this.

Hobbits had a connection with the earth, they were born with a piece of land in them. Most hobbits’ piece of land is in the shire, or in a nearby area at least. There are quite a few hobbits in the city of Bree and near the Blue Mountains, but those are rare. Some hobbits- the Landless -don’t even find their plot of land at all, so they pick a land of their own to simply take care of.
There is one special hobbit named Bilbo Baggins, nearing his forties, a confirmed bachelor, who is landless.
Poor Mister Baggins.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins came home one sunny spring day exhausted, half starved and pregnant. His heart was broken, his name cursed by the dwarves he had saved and his house was on auction by the worst relative you could imagine. It was, understandably, a terrible day.
Once it comes out that Bilbo is *expecting,* however, even the most prim and proper hobbits are scandalised at the poor treatment he received by the conspicuously absent father (and, by extension, all his kind). The Shire rallies around their poor, ill-treated and half-starved kinsman, and the climate of dwarvish relations takes a decidedly chilly turn. -

Bilbo's hair has always grown very fast and as a Baggins, he takes pride in a neat apperance. No adventure is going to prevent him from keeping his hair trimmed! For a dwarf, however, talking about hair is very taboo, something you only discuss with family or a close lover. Cutting a dwarf's hair communicates great grief or unspeakable shame. That's why the Company are in despair when Bilbo keeps cutting his beautiful hair. They can't figure out why, when they've told him countless times his past doesn't matter to them...
