Rumi just wanted to survive her job and maybe reduce a little stress, not get emotionally wrecked by a yoga class.
But thanks to her unhinged best friend Zoey (who may or may not be trying to play matchmaker), she ends up in a studio led by Mira, a stunning, graceful, slightly mysterious yoga goddess who smells like lavender and has thighs that could end empires.
Rumi tries to play it cool. She fails. Spectacularly.
What starts with awkward stretching and Rumi trying very hard not to stare, turns into deep conversations, accidental body contact, gay panic, dancing, full emotional breakdowns and very flexible sex. Yes, there’s crying. Yes, there’s touching. No, not in that order.
But with honesty, a little sweat and a lot of Zoey screaming, Rumi finally learns what it means to let someone in and to stop running from what (and who) makes her heart feel safe.
Also, yoga? Kinda life-changing. 10/10 would bend again. -

Mira didn’t let her finish.
The words tangled in her chest, sharp and panicked. She could already hear it—Jinu this, Jinu that. Some request for help picking something romantic. Advice she absolutely did not want to give—at least, not without a solid week to prepare herself. The idea of sitting there, nodding along while Rumi talked about her boyfriend, made something twist painfully in her chest.
“I’m so sorry.” Mira blurted, already shoving her chair back with an uncomfortable scrape. “I… I didn’t realize how late it was. I really have to go.”

OR: Mira being oblivious while Rumi repeatedly hits her over the head with the "pls ask me out" stick. And then they fuck about it.

rumi nods as best as she can with her face stuffed into a hole.
“sounds good,” she croaks. now she’ll also go to hell for being a liar, because nothing about what’s about to happen sounds good. it sounds awful and terrifying that a beautiful woman with presumably soft hands is going to be touching her naked body when she was so unprepared for this, even if ‘full body’ should have been indicative that she’d be getting quite naked. she just really didn’t anticipate mira.

the one where rumi goes to a spa for the first time and discovers some things about herself when her masseuse turns out to be way hotter than she could've ever imagined.

Summary
A plate shattered against the floor from the kitchen. An incredible range of emotions managed to make their way across four faces in the course of two seconds. Rumi's laughing stuttered to a halt when she noticed the pale look on Mira's face, her eyes blown wide with what could only be described as pure undiluted panic.
Playing over the last few seconds in her head Rumi's face went through the most change. Laughter, then confusion, followed by concentration, then realization. Horror dawned on her face as her eyes bugged out of her head realizing what she'd just said, who she'd said it in front of.
As her head whipped around to locate the sound Rumi saw Zoey. The most diabolically chaotice grin spreading slowly across her face. Thrill, pure joy, she was in the best position in the entire apartment area. Uninvolved, unembarassed, able to enjoy whatever glorious chaos was about to unfold.

Rumi makes the slightest of mistakes in using one of Mira's nicknames at the wrong time
