The whole table tensed as Mirabel’s scent became slightly darker, headier, just a slip of aggression woven in with her normal scent. But the most telling of all was her slit pupils, resolute and unblinking, trained on the alpha at the head of their table.
Mirabel squares her shoulders, lifts her chin, and narrows her eyes.
“Because I will fight for him, if need be. I will fight anyone who challenges me in regards to my intentions for Bruno, including mi familia.”

No, scratch that, why did she need this particular guardian?!
A drabble dump, since I probably won't be able to finish this as a full length fic, but I enjoyed writing it too much to just delete what I had already written. Mikaela and Crosshairs are really sparkmates, according to the Matrix, they're the pair who will end the war (or start the apocalypse, if they don't come together) That's what made Optimus appoint Crosshairs as her guardian.
But sometimes, love starts with fighting, and everything isn't smooth sailing. Ridiculousness, dirty jokes and drinking ensues...

Akari shifted to try and get comfortable, but it was difficult with her arms chained the way they were. She found herself wondering what it was about Giratina’s ritual that broke so many maidens. Dialga and Palkia had the same ritual. There had been a few maidens who broke beneath them, yes, but not nearly as many. They only went through three or four failed candidates before finally finding worthy mates. Nowhere near the dozens that had failed before Giratina.
The gods have a ritual to find their mates. Akari is selected as the next candidate for Giratina's.
