Summary
Following his own turn at the defendant’s stand, Miles Edgeworth realizes the consequences of his perfect win record — namely, an unknown amount of innocent people currently sitting on death row. But as Edgeworth works to reopen his old cases to free the innocent, word gets out to the true killers, who do not take kindly to his efforts. As he continues his crusade against the guilty, the assassination attempts grow more and more extreme, but Edgeworth shows no sign of stopping, much to the worry of Phoenix and Franziska. With Rouge joining Team Sonic to be closer to Knuckles and Omega being assigned to a new base for a promotion, Shadow is once again alone. He watches Sonic and his team from afar, conflicted. He works better alone, and yet … part of him yearns for their company, specifically that of his blue rival.
When the bodies of poisoned Mobians are found in increasing numbers, Shadow will have to work together with Team Sonic to uncover the culprit.
