Starscream is as shiny as ever, with glinting wings and a sharp glossa, and in a moment of weakness, Megatron decides to give Starscream a gift disguised as a bribe to enlist his help for the peace talks with the Autobots.

    It does not stay a bribe, and it does not remain the only gift Megatron gives.

A dramatic reaction, perhaps. Some semblance of familiarity in a world that is so different he no longer understands his place. But Megatron is different too.

    Both mechs end up getting exactly what they need.
