Summary
An armistice with a shaky foundation is not the ideal time to have a crisis about potential physical feelings for his Second-In-Command, but Megatron is going through it regardless. Starscream is as shiny as ever, with glinting wings and a sharp glossa, and in a moment of weakness, Megatron decides to give Starscream a gift disguised as a bribe to enlist his help for the peace talks with the Autobots.
It does not stay a bribe, and it does not remain the only gift Megatron gives.

Starscream and Megatron parted on horrible terms. When the seeker returns to Cybertron after many vorns away to confront Megatron, he isn't exactly certain what he's looking for. A dramatic reaction, perhaps. Some semblance of familiarity in a world that is so different he no longer understands his place. But Megatron is different too.
Both mechs end up getting exactly what they need.
