Shen Jiu growled, wrenching out of Qiu Jianluo’s grip to hurl an ink stone at him. He missed.
Shen Jiu saw the change in Qiu Jianluo’s face instantly, the man’s hand rising up and blocking out the glow of candlelight. His towering shadow was Qiong Qi given flesh.
Shen Jiu’s body froze instinctively as he readied himself for a blow.
But it never came, because when Shen Jiu managed to look up, all he could see was a man’s broad back swathed in black robes, his grip tight around Qiu Jianluo’s wrist.
“Qiu-gongzi, what could ever make you think that a charlatan like me wouldn’t want this boy as his disciple?”

Summary
Shen Yuan is not able to harden his heart and push his white lotus Binghe into the Abyss resulting in his death. Devastated by the loss of his beloved Shizun, Binghe takes off with his body and is constantly on the run. He is young but he is determined to bring Shizun back to life.
And then, despite all the adversities Binghe faces, he does succeed! He does get Shizun’s body back to life! There is only one minor problem though. The soul that now occupies Shen Qingqiu's body is not Shen Yuan’s but Shen Jiu’s.

Summary
Following the events of Maigu ridge, Luo Binghe inadvertently returns both himself and Shen Qingqiu back to the time when Shen Yuan first transmigrated. Between Shen Qingqiu actively sabotaging the same old plot every step of the way and Luo Binghe eagerly grasping this second chance for a happy ending with his Shizun, the two are faced with some brand new challenges, consequences of their own past decisions, and conspiracies centuries in the making.
Nothing is as it seems and every assumption is misleading.
Liu Qingge is just pissed that he gets dragged along for the ride, too.

Shen Qingqiu stood in the middle of the hall, gaze turned to look out the large doors to the side into the sweep of forest and fog covered mountains. His hair was down, falling almost to his calves and his robe was thin, barely more than a sleeping robe. Liu Qingge paused. He'd never seen Shen Qingqiu in less than three layers. Since Shen Qingqiu's qi deviation, he'd stopped dressing so fastidiously, no longer favoring high collars and sleeves that reached down to his fingers, but he still never walked around like this.
There was something else strange, too. Something in the set of his shoulders, or the tilt of his head, like he'd walked a long way to get here and still could not rest. His gaze was distant. Not cold like Liu Qingge had suspected, but flat. There was no derision or joy there. There was nothing at all.

Liu Qingge starts having strangely vivid dreams of the past. The only commonality between them is Shen Qingqiu. But why is he acting like he did before his qi deviation?
