“Why?” she asked him more firmly, more confident in her words “Why did you risk your life to save me?”Jotaro stayed quiet for a while and only kept his blue-teal eyes staring into her amethyst ones, showing no emotion on his eyes nor his face, but making her feel as if he was communicating something to her, something she couldn't comprehend quiet yet.
“I don’t know” he simply said as he turned back and started walking outside the room “To be honest… I’m not very sure myself…”
Feeling overwhelm by his boldness in admitting he had saved her but didn’t know why caused some tears to form in Noriko’s eyes as she looked down at her lap, shielding her eyes from the other three in the room with her red bangs, almost in the verge of crying.

Summary
Thanatos isn’t sure how long it’s been since they were both young, or whatever young means to gods like them, but it feels like an immeasurable amount of time, he feels like an immeasurably different person and yet exactly the same. He is still serving at the pleasure of Lord Hades and, by extension, his son. He is still wincing at the sight of Zagreus’s blood on the floor. He is reaching, reaching into the space between them now in the sulfuric heat of Asphodel, to hand him the beating heart of a centaur.
Zagreus takes it. Their hands touch during the exchange. Time folds like a thin piece of paper, so thin he can see through it to the beginning, before Zagreus, and now. Now, during or after or whatever this is between them. Always reaching out to try and close the distance, never quite getting there.

Ghost though. Ghost stills, blinks once, twice, always so thoughtful and says “Just the one dinner, Johnny? Had no idea you were so easy.”

With CyberLife in disarray after the android uprising -- and the red ice trade still at large -- Gavin and Nines get involved in an investigation on Zlatko Andronikov's family being one of the largest providers of the drug. The most effective method to put a stop to it involves Nines putting on the charm, but obstacles occur, and too late do they realize the danger. Keeping their feelings for one another concealed is a challenge in itself (...and Nines' constant teasing ensured that it was only a matter of time before Gavin's metaphorical leash would snap.)

Riding back home while on forced leave, Ghost becomes an involuntary participant of a chase.
Turns out that the biker that crashed is strikingly familiar.
Ghost and Soap are forced to work together even on leave to find out who tried to kill Soap, and perhaps Ghost enjoys that his days don't feel as dull as they did before.
