    For as long as Phoebus can remember, he’s always been a little different. When he was younger, it was easier to wave away. He had a natural talent for the piano - and the guitar, and nearly every instrument he picked up - but that was normal for some kids. As he grew older, he began experiencing visions.

    “Deja vu, darling.” His mother would say as she pressed a kiss against his forehead. “Everyone experiences it every once in a while, dear.”

    Despite his mothers words, the deja vu only got worse. He began to wake up more often at night, words caught on his tongue and a hand outstretched. A vision of green eyes and the gentle sound of someone's voice would linger, for only a moment, before his mind would be swept to sleep once more. The eyes and voice were lost to his world of magical archers and flying horses, unending music and dancing flowers.

    Bruce accidentally sends Clark twenty roses after he receives a prestigious journalism award. This could mean nothing. Lois insists otherwise.

    Emboldened by the gesture, Clark starts expressing his feelings for Bruce in little ways. Testing the waters.
    Bruce, warmed by Clark's sudden attention, vows to be a better friend. He starts going out of the way for Clark.

    Bruce has always had a little trouble with feelings. Clark understands why he would struggle to express something in words. That's okay. Clark doesn't need it to be said out loud. They can show their love for each other through their actions. Bruce seems to be uncomfortable with physical affection too, but Clark is willing to wait on that too. He'll go as slow as Bruce needs to. He just didn't think it'd be this slow.

    Clark thinks they're dating. Bruce doesn't know what's going on. Dick Grayson is #1 SuperBat shipper and Lois is giving him a run for his money.

    “Can we meet him some day?”

    Clark hesitated. It wasn’t as though his professional life and his personal life overlapped very often, Bruce and the kids being some of the very few exceptions.

    The only way Clark would be able to introduce Bruce to the League, aside from him getting kidnapped and them having to save him, would probably be to bring him up to the Watchtower. Out of the suit. As a civilian. And Clark didn’t see Batman being comfortable with that any time soon.

    “Probably not, but we’ll see.”

    Or, Clark has finally revealed his identity to the League. Who... immediately found out he was married to Bruce Wayne. If Clark had his way, Brucie and the League would stay far, far away from each other.

    Too bad his husband didn't get the memo.
