He had only seen blurry surveillance footage or the photos HYDRA had where he was always muzzled. But those eyes were unmistakable. Obviously the arm, but the eyes. The same eyes that had stared out of his history book, out of the Smithsonian Captain America exhibit.
James Buchanan Barnes, The Winter Soldier, the assassin out of time, had a goddamn YouTube channel. Clint’s long day was going to become a long couple of months.

It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
