    New to town and already bored of unpacking, Phi decides to go looking for something to occupy their time... but ends up falling into a little more than they bargained for.

    This is a canon-compliant fic for CptSadist's visual novel Cafe Noir(demo here!) focusing on the route my OC Phi takes through the game! I'm just going to do short chapters here and there I think!

    This ties into Sadistic By Nature arc 1, so there are mentions of other OCs of mine and Captain's, but the main characters who actually appear are in the tags, Phi and Jevaun are mine and others are canon to the game.

    The title is from "Deep Blue" by The Midnight which is fitting for a few reasons!

    Getting kidnapped, auctioned, and shipped out into the desert wasn't something Sable ever expected to happen to her, even though given where she came from, some might say it was inevitable.

    But when her bloodthirsty purchaser Derek finds out certain similarities between them from chance clues, he's suddenly forced to tone down his sting a little... and he is not happy about it.

    Fic focused on my OC Sable who ends up in Derek's route in the game. Focuses mostly on her dynamic with Derek though it's not in the sense of forming a conventional romantic relationship. I also ship her with Jacqueline so there are aspects of that, but again, it gets complicated. Title is from "Problems" by Mother Mother. At present it's likely to be 15-16 chapters, and I'm aiming to update every 2 weeks.

    This fic deals with some of my pre-TPOF headcanons, primarily the decision Lawrence takes decades prior that leads to his appearance in the game. As such it's pretty sad and deals with some rather dark themes as per the trigger warnings. Please don't read if it's likely to harm you.

I won't spoil too much but Reader/MC/"Violet" develops Hanahaki throughout the story. As with that fic, reader has a vulva and is referred to as Violet, but there are no specific 3rd person pronouns used.
