    It sounds like the beginning of a horror story: I restarted to find myself tied down to a bed on a ship full of dead humans and killer fauna. Still, even though it was an absolute nightmare, it's also the story of how I met my favorite people in the whole universe.

    A very AU take on All Systems Red, fusing it together with the Alien media franchise. Also a fill for the "Chained to a Bed" prompt on my BTHB bingo card.

    Harry runs after Sirius when the veil takes him and transports them both back in time to an alternate reality. A reality where Harry is once again thirteen and Sirius has just escaped Azkaban. But not only that. Harry is a Slytherin, and Peter is alive and free. They have a chance to fix it, to avoid unnecessary deaths. All they need to do, is catch Peter, and Voldemort won't come back.

    Parts of souls do not go on alone. When Voldemort returns to a body he is much more sane than before and realizes that he cannot go on as he started. Finding some old laws he sets out to reach his goals on another way. Harry will find his world turned upside down once more and we will see how people react when the evil is not acting how they think it should.

    What I wanted to write was a quick one-shot that explored the idea of Harry being the biological son of Voldemort, only Voldemort doesn't know he has a son and is also as evil as ever. Meanwhile, Harry is just a charismatic kid with a snake and ridiculously powerful magic.

    It turned into a series rewrite.
