It's Halloween at Hogwarts and the Marauders receive a mysterious invitation to a gathering in the Forbidden Forest. They know it's someone trying to pull one over on them, what else could it be, but that doesn't mean they aren't going to attend.

“There’s one for each of us,” he said as he handed one to Remus. When he flipped it over he could see his name written in swirling silver ink. The envelope unfolded into an invitation.
“His honor invites you to a midnight gathering in the Forbidden Forest. Halloween night, follow the path and come alone. Do not be late.” Peter read aloud. Remus’s invitation said the same thing.
“His honor?” Mary scoffed as she reached out and took the invitation. “Peter, are you daft? The paper is blank.”

Summary
After his father died, Remus had felt his life slipping away before him as he watched. His marks, friends, interests all being washed away and replaced with that tired, cold ache. He lashed out. Took it too far. And now as punishment he was stuck spending his summer holiday at Camp Black Lake. What did he do to deserve this of all things?
Long fic covering Remus and the Marauders time spent at a summer camp as campers and later counselors, as well as bits and pieces of the school years and holidays.
