About how Roy would come back from his vacation with shining eyes and a grateful heart and would tell them all about the wonderful time he’d had with his family thanks to Johnny’s brilliant idea. “That’s what friends are for,” Johnny would’ve said, basking in Roy’s rare show of appreciation, really taking it all in, filing it away for those days when he couldn’t seem to do anything right.
